Peaceful, simple campsites on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park
Rural, you say? Yes indeed – it’s a fitting term indeed for Pentwyn Rural Campsites, a peaceful Powys site on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park and at the foot of the Black Mountains. There’s a properly middle-of-the-countryside feel here, with trees all around and a brook running through the site, but it’s also in a handy spot - a mere 10 minutes’ drive from Hay-on-Wye.
What our guests say...
Very friendly owner, the area and landscape
was stunning and the walk to Hay on wye is one
that is weirdly fun and exciting. Overall a very
good place.

Location peaceful and beautiful scenery. Easy access. Hookups, Friendy host. Plenty of room to pitch around camper van with awning and own toilet facilities.

Stunning location, idyllic setting in the Dingle field. Owner was accommodating, changing our pitch to a more sheltered field. Best campsite we have ever stayed at.
