Peaceful, simple campsites on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park

Rural, you say? Yes indeed  – it’s a fitting term indeed for Pentwyn Rural Campsites, a peaceful Powys site on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park and at the foot of the Black Mountains. There’s a properly middle-of-the-countryside feel here, with trees all around and a brook running through the site, but it’s also in a handy spot - a mere 10 minutes’ drive from Hay-on-Wye.

What our guests say...

Loved the peace and quiet. Great to wake up near the little brook. Super host who also offered me opportunity to stay in other field which had beautiful views. Loved it. Thank you.

It was a pleasure just to sit peacefully and watch and listen to the wildlife on site and to see the diversity of the surrounding trees in Autumn just as they were changing colour.

Steve G, October 2023

Beautiful site with stunning scenery - only 10 mins to the main road so easy to get around. The woods and stream kept the kids busy and made the place so magical.
